Hey, my name is Lydia Benjamin.

Photographer, wife, and proud mom to two amazing daughters. Just a woman doing her best to juggle faith, family, and a little fun along the way. At the heart of it all, I’m a Christ follower. Grateful for grace, guided by purpose, and constantly learning what it means to walk in love and truth.

When I’m not in full “mom mode” or spending time with my husband, you’ll probably find me with a book in hand, a Coke within reach (because let’s be honest, nothing beats the original) or completely hooked on a crime TV show trying to solve the mystery before the detectives do. I also enjoy getting out in nature when it involves a kayak, some sunshine, and a peaceful stretch of water to explore.

From a young age, I was the one digging through family photo albums, carefully collecting and holding onto the images that meant the most to me. There was always something magical about those snapshots. Each one a preserved moment, a piece of someone’s story. Over the years, my fascination with photography only deepened. I’ve worked with everything from classic film cameras to the latest mirrorless technology, always chasing that perfect mix of emotion, light, and memory. For me, photography isn’t just about taking pictures, it’s about honoring moments, people, and connections. Let's turn fleeting moments into lasting memories. My approach to any session is this: to capture you and your loved ones just as they are. Every person, couple or family that steps in front of my camera is unique in their own beautiful way, and I want to capture your event, or this season of life, exactly as it is.
